Jas smashing coconuts on chicken beach
Today, we rowed our dinghy over to Manjack Island, in the Abacos. There we hiked through the primordial jungle over to the beach in the rain, and then came back to be greeted by a bunch of cooing chickens. The island was riddled with coconuts, so we gathered up as many as we could in the mosquito infested palm tree forest and began hacking into them at the conveniently placed coconut hacking station. The chickens were watching eagerly, pecking and praying that we might drop a hunk on the ground. We smashed open the coconuts, ripped out the coconut meat and ran back to the dinghy before we were sucked dry!
